Nick Bucell, a Parma resident, was sadly killed in a car accident in Noble County.

The event happened on Township Road 25 in Jackson Township around 12:14 a.m. on September 3.

Bucell was driving a 2021 Polaris 570 with a juvenile passenger when it drifted off the right side of the road and flipped into a streambed.

Bucell died as a result of his injuries despite being transferred to Marietta Memorial Hospital by United Ambulance, while the minor passenger did not require transportation.

Nicholas, known as Nick to his friends and loved ones, tragically succumbed to his injuries following a Polaris crash in Noble County.

The incident occurred on September 3 at around 12:14 a.m. on Township Road 25 in Jackson Township.

Nick was the driver of a 2021 Polaris 570, accompanied by a juvenile passenger.

According to the preliminary investigation, when they entered Township Road 25 and began driving southbound, the vehicle veered off the right side of the roadway and overturned into a creek bed.

Emergency services rushed to the scene, and Nick was promptly transported by United Ambulance to Marietta Memorial Hospital in Marietta.

Sadly, despite the most promising efforts of medical professionals, Nick Bucell’s injuries were too severe, and he tragically passed away at the hospital. 

The loss of Nicholas Bucell has profoundly impacted his family, friends, and the community he was a part of.

According to the Cambridge Post of the State Highway Patrol, Bucell, a 34-year-old resident of Parma, was driving a 2021 Polaris 570 with a juvenile passenger when the accident happened.

Preliminary investigations indicate that Bucell drove off the right side of the roadway & overturned into a creek bed.

Despite the efforts of medical professionals, Nick Bucell sadly surrendered to his injuries at the hospital.

The juvenile passenger, fortunately, did not sustain injuries requiring medical attention and did not require transportation to a healthcare facility.

Authorities doubt alcohol to be a factor in the crash, and it was noted that Bucell was not wearing a helmet at the time of the accident.

The Ohio State Highway Patrol is actively investigating the incident to demarcate the exact cause and circumstances surrounding the crash.
