American paranormal psychologist Amy Allan's love life is very normal. She found someone she loved, spent 12 years with him as husband and wife, and when things didn't work out, she got divorced, got over him, found another man, and made him her husband.

The Colorado-native is famous for her role as a paranormal investigator and physical medium (people who can talk to spirits) on Travel Channel's show, The Dead Files.

Born on May 31, 1973, in the mountainous state of Colorado, Allan was supposedly tormented by “shadow people” at the age of four. This piqued her interest in paranormal activities and psychology.

2. Amy Allan Reached The Height Of Her Career As Paranormal Investigator With 'The Dead Files'

Using her abilities as a medium, Allan has worked with police agencies and private investigators to conduct investigations for people and businesses.

The thing that brought her to the public’s eyes, however, was Travel Channel’s paranormal TV series, The Dead Files, where Allan partnered with NYPDhomicide detective Steve Di Schiavi to investigate reportedly haunted places.

The series ran for ten seasons (180 episodes) and provided numerous pieces of evidence pointing to paranormal activities.

3. Amy Allan Met Her Husband Rob Traegler On The Set Of 'The Dead Files'

It is not only the paranormal that Allan was in love with. In 2011, when The Dead Files was about to start, Rob Traegler, a television and film director, came to work in the show. Although Allan and Traegler did not start dating right away, when they did start, they did not stop.

Although Allan never talked to her ex-husband after the divorce, she did come together with him once for one of the shows she was working on.
