In the early hours of May 22, 2013, Islamist terrorists Michael Adebolajo and Michael Adebowale attacked and killed the father of Jack Rigby, Fusilier Lee Rigby.

He was one of the Royal Regiment of Fusiliers near the Royal Artillery Barracks in Woolwich, southeast London.

When Rigby was attacked, he was off duty and walked along Wellington Street. The terrorists ran over him with a car before stabbing and hacking him to death with knives and a cleaver.

The men told onlookers that they had slain Rigby to exact revenge on Muslims killed by the British military as they pulled Rigby’s body into the street and remained there until Police arrived.

Both attackers were convicted of killing Rigby on December 19, 2013.

They were both given life sentences on February 26, 2014, with Adebolajo receiving a whole life term and Adebowale receiving a minimum 45-year sentence.

Lee Rigby son, Jack, is yet to feature on the official page of Wikipedia. But, many expect him to be in the world-famous encyclopedia for the rightful deeds he’s been doing at such a young age.

A page in Wikipedia titled ‘Murder of Lee Rigby’ is based on the death of Jack’s father, who was just two years old at the time of the incident. 

The victim was a 25-year-old soldier, a drummer, and a machine gunner in the 2nd Battalion of the Royal Regiment of Fusiliers. 

Jack considers his father a hero and lives with his mother. Lee Rigby son, Jack’s educational background is unknown.

However, the young child seems to be studying in some renowned school in his locality. 

When Jack was seen at drummer Lee’s funeral sporting a t-shirt that read “My Daddy, My Hero,” it moved the entire country. And the emotion is unchanged ten years later.

Jack hopes to honor the memory of his father by raising funds for bereaved military children at such a young age. 

Jack stated he would walk and run in the May Marathon to raise money for the organization Scotty’s Little Soldiers, which helps military children who have lost a parent.

He admitted to The Mirror that going to the gym ‘distracts’ him from his loss. He said that going for a long walk gives me a respite and helps me remember things aren’t all horrible.

However, he now claims that working out helps him deal with his grief, and he plans to run a marathon to earn money.

Jack is 13 years old as of 2023. However, Lee Rigby son was just two-years-old at the time of his father’s death. 

At the age of 12, Lee Rigby son spoke for the first time about the impact he faced after losing his father at such a young age. 

When jihadis attempted to behead his father outside his southeast London barracks in 2013, Jack Rigby, then two years old, witnessed the ordeal.

Jack’s distress at the horrible death of his Royal Fusilier father caused him to regress into infancy and lose his speech for several months.

Now Lee Rigby son wants to raise thousands of pounds for grieving military children. He declared, “I feel proud.” “It reminds me it’s not all bad,”

To commemorate the anniversary of his father’s passing, he plans to run the marathon over a month and earn £10,000, or $1,000, for each year that his father “has been gone.”

He remarked, “I feel proud running the May Marathon in honor of my dad.”

‘Just because Jack was little, that doesn’t mean he’s forgotten Lee,’ Jack’s mother Rebecca, 40, told the newspaper.

He wants to demonstrate that he hasn’t lost sight of his father despite having grown up without Lee.
